Official communiqué Calzados FAL

In relation to the fire at the Calzados Fal-Chiruca and Fal Calzados de Seguridad factory, we would like to inform you of the following:

First of all, FAL would like to thank the work of the fire services, civil protection and authorities who have helped to bring this fire under control and in which fortunately there have been no personal injuries.

It can be affirmed that the factory losses are considerable, and being aware of the damages that this incident has on our activity as a whole, the company is already taking the necessary measures to recover the productive capacity as soon as possible. We are working intensively to be able to provide service in a very short space of time.

The appropriate meetings have already been held with the workers’ representatives to explain the current situation and FAL is committed to bringing them all back on board as soon as possible. The company’s most valuable asset is its human capital.

Calzados Fal-Chiruca and Fal Seguridad would like to thank all the support and solidarity received and send a message of peace of mind and hope to their employees, clients, suppliers and consumers.
